Over thirty years ago the founders Rainer Simons and Ralph Muellerschon were infected with the Harley bug and to this day they follow their passion on individual paths. The one has spent a good 100 000 kilometers on diverse bikes gathering experience as a proficient biker as well as a prudent tour guide. The other applied his love towards the beauty and structure of the historic brand into designing and building his own fleet of vehicles. Thus originated a most exclusive Harley Davidson fleet for rentals and tours throughout Europe and around the globe.
From the Star-Frame Panhead Cafe’ Racer to a CVO Street Gilde, Roaders offers only top quality motorcycles to it’s sophisticated clients. To get astride a bike and ride like the lonesome rider over the Swiss Alps, through the Austrian Bregenzer Forest or the Black Forest on the German side, gives both entrepreneurs the energy and vision to meet the self-imposed standards to be a cut above the rest.

How were Roaders founded?

OWNERS:

We were both affected at a very early age. We are passionte bikers from day one, our adrenelin rises when we hear the rumble of a Harley engine. We both have wonderful memories of our tours together, unforgettable and bonding experiences.

your enthusiasm is obvious, and a glance around the Roaders Hall shows a great love toward detail, an eclectic mix of personality,lifetsyle as well as a unique fleet of vehicles. A good place to linger. You have really created a welcoming atmosphere.

OWNERS:

We couldn’t agree more! That is one of our objectives, we want to not only utilise Roaders Hall as a starting point for our guided tours and our rentals, but we will also be staging events- the agenda 2017 is in the making as we speak. We wish to create a meeting place in the Lake Constance area for Harley enthusiasts to just stop in for a coffee or a beer and a chat.

We’re happy to hear that! We have put forth very much effort into finding great lifestyle accessories that are of timeless value and highest quality, I feel that the result can speak for itself. The demand is high, and so far we have had only positive responses.

Your focus is widespread.

OWNERS:

Not really.Our focus is and remains on our bikes. Harley bikers can simply enjoy a well-rounded choice of products in many fields. Someone who mounts his bike after a long absence, can take the refresher tour to fulfill all requirements for a safe and easy ride. The tour guides choose routes that are off the beaten track and are unequaled in every respect. This requires experience and a highly professional mindset of our guides, of which we are very proud. They don´t merely take you on a tour, they take you on a journey, of which there are many possibilities. We feel that every participant can find his own quest in a particular tour. We ourselves, as bikers, have created tours for bikers. Each tour has it’s own theme, for example Harley&Golf , Harley&Timepieces or the international bike meets. The priority, however, is always the pleasure and exitement of the ride as well as passing through unique and breathtaking scenery.

Explain Harley&Golf to me

OWNERS:

We have installed a special device on the Harley to transport golf clubs! No, jokes aside, this is an exclusive service where your complete baggage including golf equipment travels by our own Roaders bus to the final destination as not to interfere with the joy of total freedom while riding. The point of the tour is to unite two passions, some of us are also avid golfers. By the same token our clients can also create their own tour by renting a Harley from us, our custom bikes being a special highlight that you won’t find anywhere else in Europe. We are especially proud of this point.

Definitely! It sounds elementary, but as with all things that look quite easy, there is very much effort invested into Roaders Tours. We have learned from our own experiences, for example in Portugal, we rented great bikes but no helments were offered so that we were obliged to travel across town to aquire helmets that we only used fort two days riding. That was quite a let-down. But not with Roaders, here all equipment is available on demand. Everything can also be purchased, depending on your preference. Who wouldn’t like a souvenir from a memorable common experience?
